President and founder of Surg+Restore, R. Scott Brown, was interviewed last week by 5 time Emmy award winning radio personality, Sheila Hamilton of KINK 101.9 FM in Portland, Oregon. The interview will be aired the week of September 16th, in preparation for the first annual Surg+Restore and Dynasty House fundraiser to benefit the development of Sierra Leone’s first and only Burn and Reconstructive Surgery Department, which includes the training of all doctors and nurses in the specialty which currently does not exist in Sierra Leone. Funding will also be directed for primary care education and the construction of schools in the surrounding villages.
